Overnight Stay
The Franz-Senn-Hütte is an Alpine Club hut of Category I. The accommodation options are therefore deliberately kept simple – functional, clean, and suited to the character of an alpine shelter.
Available are dormitories, multi-bed rooms with 4 to 8 beds, as well as a few highly sought-after double rooms. The sleeping quarters are spread over the upper three floors; the dormitories are located on the top floor.
The dormitories were renovated around the time of the Corona pandemic. Although they remain larger sleeping rooms, the individual sleeping units are usually limited to two to a maximum of three people. This creates a certain level of privacy that is not always expected in classic dormitories.
On the first and second floors, there are washrooms with showers and toilets. Tempered shower water is available as long as the energy supply permits.
Even though the facilities remain simple, the hut offers solid basic comfort. This makes it possible to stay comfortably and cozily even in winter and during multi-day stays.
