Immediately after the Alpeiner Bach on a marked path towards Starkenburger Hütte. After 10 minutes, the path branches off to the left, towards Rinnensee. Across the grassy south side, approximately 1 to 1.5 hours to Rinnensee. From there, the path leads through block terrain, first flat, then ascending in switchbacks to the Rinnennieder.
