Down the valley, towards Starkenburger Hütte, the path runs parallel to the slope up to below the Blechnerkamm. There the path branches off into the Horntal. (Signpost Horntaler-Joch/Lüsens) Follow the path until it crosses a rock barrier. Shortly before, parallel to the rocks, follow the hollow slope upwards to the left until you reach an almost flat area. Continue in the same direction over grassy hills to a ridge. At the end of the ridge, over a short steep step onto a slope terrace and from there westwards to the summit (2860m).
