Just behind the hut. Flexible hikes extending to the foot of the Berglasferner in the Berglastal. You reach this point via the marked trail leading to the Aperer Turm. Follow this trail up to the start of the left lateral moraine of the Alpeiners (usually a small lake behind it). Then follow the faint trail traces, which soon disappear, ascending to the right. Continue as far as you like, gently ascending to the right until you reach the glacier stream from the Berglasferner.
